“Alone Alive” – Nikitas Bacharas, Solo Painting Exhibition.

Both poet and artist, Nikitas Baharas, penetrates into human nature and soul through his paintings. His work, full of tension and peace, rivalry and friendship, life and death, opposes the meaningless life, the status quo, the “tale of the dream” that each one of us has, with an authentic, individual – and not massive- revolutionary spirit, which first criticizes itself and then the ideals for which it revolts. This process may also stem from the same conflicting relationship of the artist with himself, this constant criticism and self-criticism that can only bring improvement, healing and “cleansing” or, as Nikitas writes in one of his poems, “to get to the top where the Sun rises”.
From every aspect, Nikitas conveys, through his work, all this energy and intensity of the perpetual search of man, a journey with the same starting point but different destinations, a journey, necessary for each one of us.
